Anne Neukamp

2016

Born in 1976.
Lives and works in Berlin

Her paintings cross and intertwint paths, between Pop reductionism and abstraction by hybridation of the signs produced by the communication industry.
As a result, she brings forth a new and questioning form, which refuses to yield itself as a manifest sign.
Artist at ISCP’s residency in New York (2015), she graduated from et the College of Arts of Dresden. Selected exhibitions include the Biennale ofLyon « Résonnance » in 2015, the KW, Berlin and the Kunstverein of Oldenburg in 2013, the Praha Biennale in 2011. Among others, her work is part of Marcel Brient collection (Paris).
She is represented by the galléries Valentin (Paris), Gregor Podnar (Berlin) and Greta Meert (Brussels).

She is shortlisted for the fifth edition of the Jean-Francois Prat Prize (2016).
