Philippe Decrauzat

Born in 1974 in Switzerland
Lives and Works in Lausanne (Switzerland).

Philippe Decrauzat is co-founder of the non profit space CIRCUIT (Lausanne) and art professor at ECAL school in Lausanne from which he is graduated. His work focuses on listing the forms of existing abstract art in order to propose new paintings and films. Solo shows have taken place in Grenoble at Le Magasin (2014), in Paris at Plateau/Frac IDF, Paris (2011) and in Lausanne at Musee Cantonal de Lausanne (2010), among others. His work was shown in various group shows such as «Abstract Generation: Now in Print» at the MoMA, NY (2014) & «Dynamo» at Grand Palais, Paris (2013). 
He is short listed for the fourth edition of the Jean-François Prat Prize (2015).
He is represented by Galerie Praz-Delavallade (Paris), Galerie Medhi Chouakri (Berlin) and Galerie Elizabeth Dee (NY).
